How far is the Divi Hotel from the airport?
The Queen Beatrix International Airport in Aruba is approximately twenty minutes by car to the Divi Hotel.
Transfers to and from the airport are included in the price.
Is there a dress code for the civil/beach ceremony, and wedding reception?
There is no official dress code for the civil/beach ceremony or wedding reception.
If you intend to attend both ceremonies, you may wish to bring two outfits and two different pairs of footwear.
Please remember that the civil ceremony will take place in the town hall and the beach ceremony and reception will take place in the Pure Ocean restaurant and on the beach.
How long do the ceremonies last?
Both the civil ceremony and the beach ceremony will last approximately thirty minutes each.
Do I need to get a visa to travel to Aruba?
No. You will not be required to get a visa to travel to Aruba.
What is the currency in Aruba?
Aruba's currency is the florin, but the US dollar is also widely accepted. Banks also exchange other foreign currency such as Euros. Traveller's cheques are widely accepted and there is normally no charge for using them in hotels, restaurants and stores.
However, the Divi Hotel is all-inclusive. Therefore, you will only need money for additional services and excursions.
Are there any excursions planned?
Yes. We are planning to bring the whole family together for a catamaran cruise (additional cost) around the island on Saturday 5th May 2018 (TBC)
We are in the process of ascertaining the cost for this excursion and will update the wedding party accordingly.
Can we post pictures of the wedding events on Facebook?
This is a private event and we would appreciate if pictures of the wedding events are not published on Facebook.
